The Flat Feet and Wide Feet Connection

Flat feet and wide feet frequently occur together — and insole use makes the relationship between them practically important. When the arch collapses, the foot spreads laterally, increasing its width at the ball of the foot. Slim full-length insoles designed specifically for dress shoes — 3–4mm total thickness, providing minimal arch support but meaningful cushioning in a profile that fits. These trade correction for wearability in dress footwear.

Three-quarter length insoles — covering heel through arch but stopping before the toes. These fit more dress shoes than full-length insoles and provide the most clinically important features (heel cup and arch support) while leaving room at the forefoot.
